motivation found at old navy

I have a gift card to Old Navy and I was looking around there today for some 'after surgery' clothes.. Something nice and comfortable and stretchy..

And I saw these tank tops and they seem very appropriate for 'us' going through the WLS journey!! And even though I wouldn't wear them right now .. I think they would be fun to wear proudly at the gym later on down the road.

Happy Friday everyone!

  1. I can't wait until I can shop at Old Navy. Eventhough they do have some bigger sizes, generally what I want is in the smaller sizes -big surprise! I love the shirts. How perfect. I love the colors too.

  3. Old navy is my most favorite store ever!! I have always been able to fit into their tops, but not their bottoms! I can't wait until I can try on the bottom stuff... lol.

  4. I have BOTH of those! I have maybe 6 in total and I love them. I wear them around the house and workout in them (with a supportive bra).

  7. Just joined your blog and love your posts. The one about posting the color of your bra (trusty light tan bra..Ooh go me!) had me almost splitting my stitches (I'm only 10 days post-op). I posted my bra color too but wait for it...mine was "white" so I guess I'm even more boring!

I know your impatience with waiting for a date to have the band installed but you will get there. I didn't really try to lose any weight because my surgery date came up so fast (I self-paid). You will get there and you will do well. You seem like such a sweetheart so keep on posting. Remember to post on other blogs and leave your link so others can come meet you. Oh and I love your photography. Those before pics were quite well done (I really mean that). Hope you get your dreams.
